How It Works

ClawMate uses WhatsApp Web's pairing protocol. After deployment, you scan a QR code with your phone — exactly like setting up WhatsApp Web on a new computer. No API keys, no business account needed.

Setup Steps

1. Go to clawmates.net/setup
2. Choose your AI model
3. Enable WhatsApp (just toggle it on)
4. Complete the rest of the setup
5. After deployment, you will see a QR code
6. Open WhatsApp on your phone > Linked Devices > Link a Device
7. Scan the QR code

Done. Your AI assistant is now available in WhatsApp.

What You Can Do

Once connected, message your assistant just like you would message a friend:

• "What is the weather today?"
• "Summarize this article" (paste a link)
• "Help me draft a reply to my boss"
• "Set a reminder for my meeting at 3pm"

Telegram + WhatsApp Together

You can enable both Telegram and WhatsApp on the same assistant. Your conversations sync across both platforms, so you can start a conversation on Telegram and continue it on WhatsApp.

Privacy

Your messages go directly between WhatsApp and the AI model. ClawMate does not store or read your conversations.
